UBM Sponsors Local Golf Junior Tour
United Business Machines are delighted to announce the headline sponsorship of Mike Yorke Golf Academy Junior Tour 2011.
In line with the UBM's Corporate Social Responsibility agenda, the tour gives access to a range of local children from across Surrey & Sussex to take part in this exciting event. 6 Competitions are planned to take place from April to November 2011.
The Tour is being organised by Mark Richecoeur, Tour Director & Academy Coach and Neil Plimmer, Director of Junior Golf, both who have extensive experience in developing young talent.
Mike Yorke Golf Academy Junior Tour Criteria
The MYGAJT is open to boys and girls aged between 6 and 14 years of age.
Juniors will play different lengths of holes competitions at Horne Park and Horsham Golf Clubs according to their physical age and will complete either 9 or 18 holes in each event.
Membership
Juniors can join the MYGAJT for a year which includes a MYGAJT 2011 shirt, entry fee into tournaments and a 10% discount in our golf stores. Juniors can only play one event as a non-tour member (taster event).
A yearly membership (from 1st March 2011 through to 29th February 2012) is applicable at the following cost:
- Junior Tour Membership Fee (member of Horne Park Golf Centre & Horsham Golf & Fitness): £15.00
- Junior Tour Membership Fee (non-member of Horne Park Golf Centre & Horsham Golf & Fitness): £30.00
Please Note: Membership is required to be entered into the MYGAJT Order of Merit, any event played without membership will not count towards the MYGAJT Order of Merit.
Membership fees are non-refundable and must be paid prior to an event.
