New Canon MFP

New Canon MFP range provides cost-effective, high-performance black-and-white printing UBM are pleased to announce its launch of the new Canon expanded range of compact black-and-white A3 multifunctional printers (MFPs) - the imageRUNNER 2500 series. The series is designed to provide productive and cost-effective black-and-white output for small-to-medium sized workgroups and organisations.

The imageRUNNER 2500 series replaces the current iR 2018/30 series. The expanded range of ten compact devices provides cost-effective print, copy, scan and send capabilities for busy small and medium-sized workgroups.The new series increase workplace productivity with improved performance and responsiveness with fast speeds of up to 45 pages-per-minute (ppm), high paper capacity, rapid recovery from sleep mode and with first copies available in as little as 3.9 seconds.Users are able to quickly and efficiently scan in colour and send to a variety of destinations, including the network and FTP folders as well as email addresses with Canon’s i-Send function.

The devices also create a high-quality, compressed PDF file for quick and easy sharing via email.The new series also improves efficiency and usability with a large, intuitive touch-screen display as well as the ability to scan directly to USB memory key. Highly productive automatic double-sided printing and optional inner staple finishing saves further time and hassle.The imageRUNNER 2500 series offers lower costs of operation and maintenance with a “service-friendly” design. A higher yield drum unit also reduces maintenance times and requirements. The network-ready devices enable IT administrators to monitor any MFP on the network remotely with iW Management Console. Seamless integration into an organisation’s existing IT systems is ensured with PCL and PostScript capabilities.

The imageRUNNER 2500 series is also compatible with Canon’s e-Maintenance tool, which maximises uptime through remote diagnostics. Should an error occur, an instant notification is sent to the service provider.
