4 Scarlet Jackets at the John Salako Thames Valley Masters
After a thrilling day of golf and fun, it was Team Healy that took this year’s title at the John Salako Thames Valley Masters, co-sponsored by United Business Machines.
After an outstanding game, Tony Healy, Damion Queva, Mark Parker and Graham Rollander were each awarded the infamous Scarlet Jacket.

First prize also included a round of golf with the day’s host, John Salako and free annual membership to My Mates Rates, worth £500.

Despite the unfortunate bad weather there was some excellent play and great fun had by all. The eventful day was followed by an equally enjoyable evening with a fantastic gala dinner and hilarious after dinner speaker and compere Ian Richards.

More importantly the day’s success was confirmed by the outstanding fundraising, which was increased by the generosity shown by guests during the charity auction. UBM are delighted to announce that the total amount raised by the event for Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East was in excess of £4,500
