United Business Machines takes environmental and green issues seriously.
Our strategy for change includes: -
- To minimise waste by reviewing operations to guarantee they are as efficient as possible
- Actively promoting recycling of materials both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers
- Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact. In this we are working with Canon who have excellent green credentials
- Minimise emissions through the selection and use of low Co2 emitting vehicles
- Meet all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company
- Offer customer’s the chance to use, paper & ink saving software, such as Print Audit and Canon’s Uniflow software
- Full Client training on delivery of orders that covers environmental savings that can be achieved by correct operation of the machines
As a team we will work to ensure all our business activities minimise where possible, the environmental impact we have on our surroundings.
